Devlog 5: Production sprint pt.3


Welcome to Gobo Rampage's fifth devlog!

Vegetation
We started with the first trim textures of the project, which turned alright. Thanks to using gradients, creating textures was done fairly easily. The same texture will also be used for different vegetation meshes. We'll be doing the same for other textures.

Characters
We also created the last of the 4 characters, the Guard and the Villager. The guard looks sturdy, big and imposing so that it fits the fact that he is supposed to show authority and catch anyone who gets too close. The villager is supposed to look like a typical villager doing his work and walking around. Later on the villagers will be equipped with their own clothing that matches their profession.



Throwables
The player picks up throwables that can be used to stun adventurers and hit villagers. We've modeled all three throwables that will be found around the map. Throwables can be found as rocks, eggs and dates.

UI
In addition to last week, we now have the inventories for both throwables and prank items. The line art of our UI is almost fully finished, all that is needed is score and tasks.
